Absolutely practical and amazing curtains and curtains for your home
Any interior designer would confirm it, the curtains make each room look perfect, but only if they are selected appropriately. When it comes to windows, the colors and textiles are of great importance here. There is so much variety in the market that you feel overwhelmed and confused.
That's why we got advice from experts to make the most of it.
Colors and textures
The fabrics are an essential part of the curtains because they determine their functionality. "If you're too heavy, you would not fold them crisp, if they're too lightweight, they will not look balanced," says designer Suysel DePedro Cunningham.
Fold the curtains up like an accordion and let it drape. - says Lana Lawrence. If it widens like a crinoline, it will not look nice on the window. Choose curtains with large patterns as the little ones will not fully show the curtain fabric.

The sunlight will fade the fabrics over time. If it floods the room with plenty of daylight, avoid the bright colors because they go out faster. The neutral colors do not seem to fade quickly and they adapt to any ambience.
Linen, silk, rayon and velvet are the best choice for windows because you tend to float better in the air. The rayon is the most durable and in darker rooms it does not deteriorate as fast as the real silk.
Some substances can keep the cold away. Velvet, suede and tapestries are used in many hotels because they simply block light and heat. If the silk is unlined, it will rot. The lining material and the inserts give the curtains their shape and fullness.
Length and insert
Before you measure, make sure the curtains are positioned above the window. Do not forget it: attached panels over the window give a sense of height in the room - says Cunningham. Very often the designer curtains hang 15 cm over the window frame for a dramatic look.
